MWAMBU: I AM COMMITTED TO BETTER BUMULA

The Bumula Member of Parliament Mwambu Mabongah has reaffirmed his commitment to better all aspects of the constituency.

Speaking at a Professionals forum held at Graceland Gardens Resort,the MP thanked Bumula voters for choosing him. He lauded professionals for informing opinion of the public about his candidature; a strong pillar to his election.
He praised the professionals caucus through its chair for coming up with a forum like the one held on 26th to chart way for Bumula.
He delved into the analysis of the results for both KCSE and KCPE.He described the results as discouraging & implored the teachers and professionals alike to own these results and chart remedy together since it is a collective responsibility of all stakeholders.
He addressed the problems associated with these results; as had been put forth by head teachers and principals present,committing himself  and his office to lead the way in sorting them.
"I have listened to teachers. There are really touching issues such as the environment, society and the CBE. My office will deal with that which is within our mandate. That does not mean I will stop reminding others charged with the education of our children," the MP said.

ADOPT A SCHOOL;KID.
 He challenged teachers and professionals alike to consult with the leadership since they are drivers of opinion and thus,should not sit on the fence but roll up their sleeves and get involved.

As an example Hon. Mwambu told professionals to give back to their mother schools through alumni associations and philanthropic acts like sponsoring needy students and even pooling resources and building classrooms and other structures that will spur growth of education standards of Bumula schools.

Present in the meeting were CS water,Hon. Eugene Wamalwa, HE Governor Wycliffe Wangamati,HE First lady Carolyne Wesonga-Wangamati,MCAs and other leaders.
