MWAMBU OPENS SECOND PROJECT,SWEARS TO DELIVER ON MANIFESTO

Bumula Member of Parliament Hon. Mwambu Mabongah opened the second project built in his 8 month stint as the legislator,a trend that puts him on a pedestal to greater achievements. The event that comes barely two weeks after opening the first complete project was held at Masielo Primary school exuded the recommended workmanship that the lawmaker has been championing under his 'Raising the Standards' clarion call. Speaking at the colourful event, Hon. Mwambu assured residents of his resolve to implement development projects saying,it is during his reign that he wants to see Bumula go up the development ladder. Mwambu Mabongah has been monitoring and evaluating the progress of CDF funded projects in his constituency even as he quests to get value for money for his constituents. Today,the first time legislator visited Mundaa Primary School in Khasoko ward, Wacholi Primary School in West Bukusu ward and Napara ACK Primary School in Siboti ward checking the quality of workmanship being invested in the projects. His interaction with residents exuded positive feedback. The projects are part of his ambitious programme that seeks to rid Bumula of under-the-tree and mud walled classrooms. Bumula MP Hon. 40 MOTORBIKES GIVEN TO BODABODA IN AMBITIOUS EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

The Bumula MP Hon. Mwambu Mabongah today handed over 40 motorcycles to bodaboda operators from Kimaeti Sub county of Bumula Constituency in an ambitious empowerment programme that would see each motorcycle operator own their own bikes. Speaking at the ceremony, the legislator called on youth to take charge of their destiny and avoid bring used by unscrupulous politicians who don't want them to excel. "We have come a long way in seeking to make this dream a reality. It is quite unfortunate that some leaders incited bodaboda operators to share the money I personally raised with my friends, towards this course. I'm happy that it has come to fruition," Hon. Bumula Member of Parliament Hon. Mwambu Mabongah opened the Mabusi Chief's office in Bumula Ward today. The project,fully funded by the NG-CDF, is among the first works to be completed under the current MP's tenure. Speaking at the colourful ceremony,Hon. Mwambu advised contractors to deliver good quality works within the shortest time possible,since his Rapid Response Initiative aimed at turning around fortunes in the constituency aims at finishing most projects within his first term. "To my friends seeking contracts in Bumula,check first your capacity. Are you able to do quality work? Can you meet the timelines set out in my development blueprint? MWAMBU: CULTIVATE UNITY FOR DEVELOPMENT

Beware,political bickering and incitement breeds underdevelopment. These were the words of Bumula MP Hon. Mwambu Mabongah when he fellowshipped at the Mayanja Catholic Church and Kimwanga Catholic Church. He challenged the congregants to embrace love and dialogue in the day to day activities and engagements so as to realize God's promise for the region. Speaking at the two churches,Hon. Mabongah further discouraged political bickering and theatrics that may deny the populace opportunities to grow. SPEND LESS ON CIRCUMCISION, MP ADVISES CONSTITUENTS.

Bumula MP Hon. Mwambu Mabongah as urged parents of teenagers who are set to undergo circumcision in August to spend sparingly during the rites set to kick off on August 1. "It is our custom to have our young men involve in circumcision. Much as it is a rite of passage,the celebrations accompanying the rite should not be extravagant to the extend of forgetting the future. Spend sparingly. Remember,the goat you slaughter may save you when time to pay fees comes," the legislator opined. More Time to Studies . He also cautioned prospective initiates against spending too much time on the preparations for the cut instead dedicate more time to studies.
