Speaking when he visited the Headquarters of the African Divine Church (ADC) in Boyani, Vihiga County, where he presided over the closing ceremony of the Youth Leaders’ National Convention, Speaker Lusaka noted that the country had just come from one of the most expensive elections in the world. “I do not deny that change is good as rest. Bumula legislator Hon. Mwambu Mabongah has today launched an ambitious bursary scheme in a colourful ceremony held at the Kibabii Diploma Teachers' Training College Syombe campus. The MP used the opportunity to enlist his education blueprint for the education sector in the constituency,saying his stand with headteachers on infrastructural development and result improvement stands saying the delay in initiating its implementation is due to the delay in release of funds by the national government.
