Bumula MP Hon. Mwambu Mabongah has stepped up his quest to rid Bumula of mudwalled classes.

Today, the legislator laid foundation stones for construction of classrooms at St. Elizabeth Wacholi Primary School in West Bukusu ward, Napara ACK Primary School in Siboti ward and Mundaa Primary School in Khasoko ward.

The development will see the schools get three classrooms each.

Communities applauded Hon. Mabongah for his hands on approach in ensuring that schools get developed and good quality classrooms and other infrastructure.

"This school has had problems for very long. Pupils have been learning from under the trees FOR YEARS. We like our MP for trying to address this. We will never forget," said one happy woman.

The schools have been grappling with infrastructural underdevelopment for a long time.
