DELIVER ON QUALITY IF YOU WANT BUSINESS IN BUMULA, MWAMBU TELLS CONTRACTORS

Bumula Member of Parliament Hon. Mwambu Mabongah opened the Mabusi Chief's office in Bumula Ward today.

The project,fully funded by the NG-CDF, is among the first works to be completed under the current MP's tenure.

Speaking at the colourful ceremony,Hon. Mwambu advised contractors to deliver good quality works within the shortest time possible,since his Rapid Response Initiative aimed at turning around fortunes in the constituency aims at finishing most projects within his first term.

"To my friends seeking contracts in Bumula,check first your capacity. Are you able to do quality work? Can you meet the timelines set out in my development blueprint? Bumula needs a rapid response to issues. You must be ready to work with realistic timelines if you will do business with us," the MP said.

Further the legislator urged for transparency in procurement of works and material with his emphasis on quality,unequivocally outstanding.

MWAMBU, BUMULA EARMARKED FOR THE NG-CDF FETE FOR PRUDENTIAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT.

This is according to NG-CDF Board Chair Mr. Masese and CEO Yusuf Mbuno,who expressed their awe upon completing a tour of projects sampled in each of the seven wards,across the expansive Constituency.  Speaking at the St. Michael Nakhwana Primary School where the tour culminated in the opening of a CDF funded three classrooms and office project,Mbuno told Wananchi  that he has never seen anywhere,the zeal for development and economical prudence in maximising available meagre resources to address teething community needs over a very short period. KENYAN TO HEAD IMF'S INDEPENDENT AUDIT OFFICE.

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Christine Lagarde yesterday announced her decision to appoint Nancy Asiko Onyango as Director of the Fund’s Office of Internal Audit and Inspection (OIA). The OIA conducts independent examinations of the IMF’s internal control and governance processes. Ms. Onyango, a Kenyan national, will succeed Clare Brady, who left the Fund earlier this Fall. Her appointment will take effect in February 2018. “Ms. Onyango brings to the Fund more than 25 years of experience in internal audit, strategic risk management, corporate governance, and IT risk management,” Ms. Lagarde said. “In addition to her extensive assurance and corporate governance experience, Nancy is passionate about empowering women and girls, notably in harnessing their leadership potential.
