MWAMBU: PROMISE TO OPEN A PROJECT EVERY MONTH ON COURSE; WE WILL DO MORE
Bumula Member of Parliament Hon. Mwambu Mabongah opened his fourth project at Masuno Primary School in Bumula ward,fulfilling his promise of opening at least one project every month.
The colourful event saw the MP hand over three classrooms for use to the school after they were fully refurbished by the Bumula Constituency Development Fund kitty.
Speaking ceremony, the people's darling exuded confidence to fulfill his promise of opening a project every month promising to increase the number with time.
"I promised to change the way things are done. I promised to ensure efficiency. In this regard,we agreed with my committee to ensure work is done with realistic timelines. Thus,we will be opening a complete project every month left on our term. Today,the three classrooms have been fully refurbished. Another project is likely to be opened this month. This trend may get even better with projects increasing with time. Our clarion call that aims at raising standards will be upheld all through," the lawmaker said.
Owing to the number of condemned classrooms the school was promised three more classrooms in the next financial year.
