Emmanuel Wangwe (Navakholo), Hon. Dan Wanyama (Webuye  West), Hon. Malulu Injendi (Malaga), Hon. John Waluke (Sirisia), Hon  Marwa (Kuria  Est) and a host of other leaders in a funds drive aimed at empowering Bodaboda  in the constituency.

The funds drive, which saw the legislator give his personal donation of Ksh.100,000, raised Ksh. 1.41m that will be used to fund empowerment  programmes for the motorcycle riders.

Speaking at the function, the MP reaffirmed his commitment to pledges he made during campaigns vowing to fulfil each one of them.  The MP also reiterated his stance on corruption in the  country calling on relevant agencies to lead the war on graft.

"During campaigns, there are things I promised. One of them was youth empowerment.  As you can see, I'm already on track to achieve them.......  On corruption, I am calling upon the president and the deputy president to crack the whip on those who are said to perpetuate the vice.  Our youth cannot languish due to inefficiency and rampant corruption,"the lawmaker said.

Hon. Mwambu led thé team to a match between Kanzu FC and Kabula United where each team was awarded Ksh. 75,000 and a full set of uniforms.

Earlier in the day, the legislators attended church service at the Kimaeti Catholic Church where they cumulatively raised Ksh. 0.72m towards the ongoing construction works.
